Green Delight Smoothie w/ Cinch!

For supper, I really wanted something light to eat instead of the organic beef stew leftovers. I just didn't feel like eating red meat for dinner so I blended up this delicious smoothie and will enjoy it with my favorite fruit...a red pear!

1/2 cup coconut water
1 cup unsweetened Silk Almond Milk
1 cup water
1/2 cup strawberry kefir
2 scoops Cinch Vanilla Shake Mix
2 kale leaves
2 cups spinach
1 tsp raw agave
Ice

I can only imagine how yummy this would taste with the Cinch Strawberry Shake Mix!

Fruit & Chocolate Smoothie w/ Cinch

I experimented this morning with Shaklee's Cinch Chocolate Shake soy protein mix. I was pleasantly surprised at how well my breakfast smoothie tasted. To give you an idea, this creamy smoothie tastes just like a chocolate malt you would have ordered back in the 50's at a local diner.

1 cup unsweetened Silk Almond Milk
2 scoops Cinch Chocolate Shake Mix
1/2 cup strawberry kefir
1 banana
Ice

Almond Joy Smoothie w/ Cinch

Today's Easter Sunday and, like most families, we're racing out the door to get to church on time. I didn't have time to fix my traditional Easter morning breakfast for the family so they had oatmeal and I quickly blended a smoothie!

1 cup unsweetened Silk Almond Milk
1/2 cup strawberry kefir
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup dates
1/4 cup almonds, whole natural no salt
2 scoops Cinch Vanillla Shake Mix
1 banana
Ice

Though this smoothie is high in carbs, it's okay to eat early in the morning because the protein-to-carb ratio will keep my body fueled until our afternoon Easter dinner.

Cucumber Celery Cooler Smoothie

Today I ventured out to make a fruit-free smoothie. I'll warn you, this is an acquired taste. I would recommend weening the fruit in your smoothies to prepare your taste buds. I think this smoothie is refreshing but my hubby thinks otherwise :). Are your taste buds ready for an adventure?

2 cups water
1 celery stalk
1/2 cucumber
1/2 avocado
2 cups spinach
5 sprigs cilantro
2 kale leaves
Ice

*If you must add fruit to improve the flavor, I recommend a banana.

Madagascar Green Smoothie

On this cold and windy day, I look forward to spring. So, I decided to make a tropical green smoothie for lunch! When I was in Mexico with my Best Blendy, we would sing a lyric from one of the Madagascar songs: "You put the lime in the coconut & mix it all up!". With that being sung, here's today's recipe!

2 cups water
1 cup blueberry kefir
1/2 avocado
1/2 banana
2 cups spinach
2 kale leaves
1 whole lime (juice only)
1 tbsp cream of coconut
4 strawberries
Ice
